200 Wins & 28 Years: Meet Wilmington Coach Terry Verelli
The Wilmington Greyhound football squad will head to the 2006 District 10 high school playoffs under Coach Terry Verrelli's leadership. A modest Verelli quietly acknowledged his 200th career coaching victory as Wilmington defeated Northwestern 19-0 on October 27. The Greyhounds have maintained an undefeated season (9-0 at this date) and will likely take the Region 3-AA crown. The team wraps up the regular schedule at Greyhound Stadium on Friday night when Moniteau comes to town. Now Coach Verelli goes "Behind the Mic" with Titan Radio's DJ Yokley talking about his long career at Wilmington and what it takes to build a winning Greyhound team.
