Westminster Football Falls to Grove City

The First Titan Loss to Grove City in 27 Years
The Westminster Titans will try to recover this week from a heartbreaking loss to PAC rival Grove City last weekend. Westminster was looking to stay hot after a big win against Adrian College the week before. However the Wolverines pulled off their first win against Westminster since 1979. For a the second week in a row the fate of outcome of the Titan squad's game was decided by place-kicking. The Titans fell to Grove City, 21-20, in their first Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game of the season Saturday at Thorn Field.

Titantown Sports reporter Chris Norris has all the highlights here with his Titan Football Recap.

Westminster tried to force the game into overtime with a last moment touchdown, but the Titans missed the extra point breaking a nearly three decade record of wins over Coach's Corner on WCN.
