Wilmington Savors Home Sweet Homecoming Victory

Wilmington returned to Greyhound Stadium on Friday for homecoming, and it didn't take long to see that this Greyhound team deserved it's state ranking. The Hounds put up 21 points in the first half and shut out Hickory, on their way to a 40-0 win over the Hornets. This homecoming victory sets the Hounds atop the throne of their conference. Now at a perfect 6-0 on the year and ranked number six in the PIAA Class AA, the Hounds travel for an out of region game at Warren, but the team also looks ahead to the also unbeaten Sharon Tigers two weeks down the road. A game so big, it has to be presented all across the state by the Westmisnter Cable Network as the Pennsylvania Cable Network's "Game of the Week.".

This game will be sure to serve as the biggest game of the year for both squads.
One team will make history, while the other team becomes it. Make sure you don't miss a hit when the season's on the line, and stay up to date on all your Blue and Gold action all season in the Greyhound Roundup with Titantown Sports Director DJ Yokley.

SHOW NOTE: A special version of the Greyhound Roundup can be seen this Friday, It will feature some of your favorite Hounds talking about the season so far, and what to look forward to going into the Sharon game.
