Titans Pull Off Thrilling Victory Over Adrian College

The Westminster College football team refused to give up in a double overtime Saturday at Burry Stadium to upset top-ranked Adrian College, 27-24.

The Titans claimed their first game of the season against the Adrian Bulldog team (1-2) that was picked to win the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association this year and was ranked in the preseason Top 25 national poll.

Wilmington Conquers Greenville Trojans 34-7

Wilmington brought a 3-0 record back home on Friday night to take on the always challenging Greenville Trojans. The Hounds protected their Pennsylvania AP number eight state rank by scoring early and often, courtesy of the standout back Chris Burns game high 4 TD's ( 18 rushes 198 yards 3TD on the ground, 1 INT 47 yd TD return.) Shane Wagner added 2 picks for the Hounds, and Nick Riggall took his boot to 26, and 32 yard field goals. Would this be enough to hold off the Trojans? Find out with Titantown Sports Director D.J. Wilmington Brings It Down to the Wire with Grove City

Wilmington's football players and coaches hope to continue the winning streak this week when Greenville comes to Greyhound Stadium. But that winning streak nearly came to an end last week when the Greyhounds went on the road to Grove City. Wilmington junior offensive star Chris Burns saved the day in the final moments of that game. He cinched a 14-6 Wilmington win when he went on the defensive an tackled Grove City's quarterback just as he was about to score. Titan Town sports director D.J. Wilmington Greyhounds Storm Fort LeBoeuff

Look for Wilmington’s football team to keep a position in the Associated Press PIAA ranking for AA high schools this week after the Greyhounds stormed Fort LeBoeuf. Wilmington took no prisoners as the Greyhounds destroyed the visiting Bison in a 49-0 blowout. Wilmington went into the game ranked number eight in the PIAA Class AA by the AP and last week’s victory over Ford City.
